WHAT’S GOING ON IN LIBERIA?

School Is Back

Our children in Liberia are excited and ready to go back to school. This school year we will be assisting over 1,000 children by providing school supplies and school fees. We’re also excited to announce we will have 11 children attending university, one attending trade school, and another in nursing school this year.

If you’re interested in partnering with us, and filling the education needs of a child, please visit our Scholarship Page.

Chicken Coops

That’s right people, we are officially chicken farmers in Liberia. Two of the orphanages we support (Lighthouse Orphanage & Williams and Garblah) now are farming chickens.

Why Chickens?

  1. The chickens should lay enough eggs for each child to have one egg per day plus have enough to sale at market.
  2. Learning to farm chickens can help the children develop a sense of responsibility as well as new skills that may sustain them in the future.

THE LOVE PERIOD PODCAST

Yes, you read that right! We’ve been diligently working to create a podcast so that you can hear the stories of those from all walks of life who have picked up the anchor and have taken giant steps of faith in their life.

From our very own Founder of Orphan Aid, Daryl Roberts to Founder and President of City of Refuge Bruce Deel. This podcast will be filled with inspiring content sprinkled with Orphan Aid updates from the field.

We will launch our very first interview with Daryl Roberts October 1st, but for now, go on over and subscribe and listen to Episode 000 (Intro to Podcast) where you’ll learn details as well as meet your host, Jacob Burson.
